Immigr8 Inc. is a private agency that evaluates foreign transcripts and provides an interpretation of records to local education agencies (LEA’s). It is the receiving LEA’s discretion to accept or reject this evaluation.
Interpreting foreign records is a challenge for many school personnel. This guide book has taken the worry and stress out of evaluating transcripts and determining what credit is allowable. It contains curriculum translations for the most common foreign countries represented in US schools. Please keep in mind that the Texas Education Agency does not provide guidelines for interpreting and awarding foreign credit, it is completely at the discretion of each Learning Education Agency to determine what credit they will accept.
